Waffle House #347 Crew
Horn Lake, MS (AP) - The management staff at a local waffle house has produced so many weddings in the past 2 months that they have decided to hire a full-time wedding coordinator.
"We've done so many weddings, bridal showers and Bar Mitzvahs in the past few months, we had no choice," General Manager Tom Guneiro said, "we're just too busy to run a restaurant and a meeting place both. We had corporate add in another one of those mobile restaurant modules to our left side."
"We're thinking of doing the new wing in a Mexican motif, possibly nicknaming it Waffle Hacienda," chimes in the new coordinator, Maggie Johnson, "I'm so excited about all the possibilities now. I mean, I won't have to take down the decorations any more! We did 3 weddings last month and that doesn't begin to count the wedding showers and bachelor parties, and it gets a little cramped in here. This new wing is just what we need to realize all the potential future business."
"We could even possibly add corporate meetings, Little League get-togethers, or even Tupperware parties to the new section," chimes in an excited Guneiro, "We're really overwhelmed with the new possibilities and avenues opened to us."
